Nova Bingo Review

About NovaBingo

Nova Bingo is claiming to be the future of online bingo, and we guess they have the right to this claim to fame, they are one of the newest bingo sites in 2012. Newly out of the testing process at the end of May 2012, they operate on Dragonfish software, and obviously are linked to the same bingo network.

They don’t have a great deal of history but what we know so far is all good. In comparison to the 28 new sites that opened in 2011, only 14 have opened this year so far (2012), so, we know from this the competition is stiff. There are online bingo websites in the UK that have been in operation for 10 years or more.

The Dragonfish Bingo Network

The Dragonfish Bingo network and software is a B2B product from Cassava/Brigend which is also a subsidiary of 888.com. To some extent this brand has managed to corner, if not swamp, the British online bingo business. While the product is incredibly reliable, safe for consumers to use and quite fun, it can be a bit trying to realise that a prize pool is going to be shared between players on upwards of about 80 other websites. They are all Gibraltar licensees and so is Nova Bingo.

User reviews for the testing period were good with 43% of players enjoying the site; saying they would recommend it. The only thing that seems to be a problem with them is that there are so many sites on the Dragonfish network, that basically the same takes place at every one. For some players this is great, because it helps them to navigate and understand what is going on easier. For other more sophisticated bingo tastes, it might be a less than liberating experience, but that is what choice is about, and we admit it is nice to have choices.

Games at Nova Bingo

The same applies to the games available at Bingo Nova. While there is a good choice of bingo including the best of 90 ball, 75 ball and Swedish style 75 ball bingo; with Progressive jackpots on Diamonds are Forever, House Party, the Swedish Jackpot and a million pound coverall, which to my knowledge has never been won. Bingo tickets range in price from 1p to £1, and they give away some bingo for free. There are also embedded and mini-game slots available, as well as scratchies and a couple of casino game choices.

Prizes, Promotions and Bonuses

In the games section of this review, we have mentioned some of the prizes available; these will grow in size as the popularity of the site grows. In the meantime receive £25 free for making a first deposit of £10. This is a generous 250% welcome bonus on deposit amounts up to £40. There are also loyalty bonuses and this is considered to be an important feature.

Our Impression

Never having been a Dragonfish fan it is hard to offer an objective impression. One thing we can say with absolute conviction is, it is a reliable brand. We suggest trying Nova Bingo out for yourself and seeing what you think – it is quite safe to do so, and could be great for the more novice player.
